Of building community, connecting local folks in need with area farmers
With its all-volunteer team of food bank managers and assistants, JCFBA effectively serves between 2,700 and 3,900 households or nearly 8,000 people every month throughout East Jefferson County. Offering a diversity of food as well as hygiene supplies to community members who are in need.
This essential work ensures that families, seniors and individuals in our community who are experiencing food insecurity has access to basic food every week.
The all-volunteer board of JCFBA provides guidance, governance, leadership and LOTS of donated labor necessary to operate four East-Jefferson Food Banks, as well as support west-end tribal and pop-up food banks throughout the Olympic Peninsula.
